  81. The installation procedure for thsi program is quite simple.  The
  82. package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  83. entire process.

  85. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  86. the program.

  89. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  90.  
  91. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  92.  
  93.    o  Place the distribution diskette in the appropriate diskette drive.
  94.  
  95.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  96.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  97.       the MS-DOS command, "a:install".

  99.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  100.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  101.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  102.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  103.       the program files to that directory.  If you received the program
  104.       on two diskettes, you will need to insert Disk 2 in the diskette
  105.       drive when asked to do so.  If you so direct it, the installation
  106.       program will install executable programs and documentation in
  107.       other directories of your choice.  It will make no other changes;
  108.       specifically, it will not modify your autoexec.bat or config.sys

  112. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE

  114. If you downloaded the program from a BBS or received it in the form of
  115. archive files from some other source, you will need to perform the
  116. following steps.

  118.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  119.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  120.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  121.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  122.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  123.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  124.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  125.       the package.
